Skiing as a leisuretime activity for people with disabilities

The final bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of skiing as a leasuretime aktivity for people with disabilities. The theoretical part of the thesis contains the possibilities and ways of skiing for people with disabilities, the most common disabilities in connection with skiing, teaching methodology, the work of a ski assistant or instructor, the impact of sport on health condition and socialization of person. The practical part of the thesis contains research in the field of skiing for poeple with disabilities. The main aim of the research was to find out information, knowledge, skills and attitude of ski instructors to teach people with disabilities. As follows from the text, the respondents of the questionnaire survey, which was carried out using quantitative method, were ski instructors operating in the Czech republic and abroad. The answers of the questionnaire survey are evaluated in thesis. Part of the answers is recorded in the graphs. KEYWORDS Skiing, disabilities, sit-ski, leisuretime activity
